我个人觉得,好像不是很好.
rate的意思是“比率,率”,常见的有
the brith rate 出生率 the death rate 死亡率 the divorce rate 离婚率 the interest rate 利率
这些是习惯上用rate来表示的.
而proportion比例；部分,份儿；侧重的是“一部分”“有一定比例的sth."
常见的是 a proportion of sth.一部分的.
A high proportion of sth.很大一部分的.
the proportion of sth.is ..的比例是.
所以还是用习惯用法 rate比较好~
