个人认为:The structure of the backbone 是主语 shows是谓语 ,that后面是宾语从句,however是插入语.但是感觉宾从是不是太长了.是不是还可以再进行分析?
2.He refused to develop projection technology,reasoning that if he made and sold projectors,then exhibitors would purchase only machine-a projector-from him instead of several.
只知道He是主语,refused to develop 是谓语,projection是宾语.从reasoning that开始后面的就不知道要怎么分析了,另外 refused to develop 又是什么成分,是不定式吗?
小女现在在准备托福考试,但是从小语法学得不好,都是考完试就忘记的,现在发现很多长难句理解不透.当然上面两句还是比较好理解,但是就是不知道应该怎么分析成分,另外可以说说考托福和sat要具备哪些语法知识吗~感激不尽!

1.楼主前面的分析都对,that后的确是宾语从句,从句里还有一个让步状语从句.even though：即使
2.refuse to do是拒绝做某事,to to这里是做宾语的,后面是现在分词做伴随状语,then后面就是并列句了.
