阅读表达。     Others may have better achievements than you, and no matter how hard you tried. It might seem impossible for you to match them. You might then think that it"s because you are not smart enough or don"t have enough talents. All these give reasons to you not to like yourself.
Fortunately, there are always things you can do to fix the situation and achieve success in your life. Here are some tips:
     1) Forgive yourself
You may have made mistakes in the past, but you can learn from them. It"s true that you are not perfect, but neither is everybody else. It"s normal to make mistakes, so do yourself a favor by giving yourself forgiveness
     2) Accept things you can"t change
There are some things you cannot change. So learn to accept them. You will feel much relieved if you treat things you can"t change the way they deserve: just accept them, smile, and move on.
     3) Focus on your strengths
Instead of focusing on your weaknesses, focus on your strengths. You always have some strength which gives you a unique combination nobody else has. Recognize your strengths and build your life around them.
     4) Write your success stories
Sometimes, we are so focused on what we don"t have that we forget about what we have. So write your success stories. They do not have to be big things; there are a lot of small but important achievements in our life.
     5)Stop comparing yourself with others
You are unique. You can never be like other people, and neither can other people be like you. The way you measure your success is not determined by other people and what they achieve. Instead, it is determined by your own life purpose. You have everything you need to achieve your life purpose, so it"s useless to compare yourself with others.

阅读表达     All people have dreams and they obey the rule that if you can dream it, you can achieve it!Here are
four goals for people to reach a perfect life in their future.
The first goal common to all of us is health and energy. We all want to be healthy and fit, to have high
levels of energy and to live free of pain and illness. Today, with the incredible advance in medical science,
the quality of our health and fitness, and our lifespan is largely determined by design, not by chance. People with excellent health habits are far healthier, have more energy, and live longer and better than people
who have poor health habits. Remember that health is not everything, but without health everything is
nothing!
The second goal that we all have in common is to enjoy excellent relationships-intimate, personal or
social-with the people we like and respect, and who in turn. Fully 85% of your happiness will be
determined by the quality of your relationships at each stage, and in each area, of your life. How well you
get along with people, and how much they like and respect you, have more impact on the quality of your
life than perhaps any other factor.
The third common goal is to do work that we enjoy, to do it well, and to be well paid for it. You want
to be able to get and keep the job you want, to get paid more and promoted(晋升)faster. You want to
earn the very most that is possible for you at each stage of your career, whatever you do
.
The fourth goal we all have in common is to achieve financial independence. You want to reach the
point in life where you have enough money so that you never have any financial worries. You want to be
completely free of them. You want to be able to order dinner in a restaurant without referring to the price
listings to determine what you want to eat.1. What does this passage chiefly talk about? (no more than 12 words)
________________________________________________________________________
2. Fill in the blank in Paragraph 3 with proper words. (no more than 6 words)

3. Complete the following sentence with proper words according to the underlined sentence in
Paragraph (no more than 6 words)
Everybody wants to make ______ no matter what job he is engaged in.
4.Why does the author put health ahead of other goals?(no more than 20 words)

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpiece
written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. The story line
is simple.  The book is like a biography (自传)  of a summer in
Tom Sawyer"s life.
Tom Sawyer is a smart but naughty young boy living in the
small town on the Mississippi River. He is an orphan and lives
with his aunt. He has many clever ideas, but doesn"t like school,
and always likes to escape the school to fish. Tom has a trusted
friend,Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of. Tom Sawyer
and Finn have great adventures on the Mississippi River,
pretending to be pirates, attending their own funeral, and
witnessing a murder. Tom overcomes fear and appears in court and
speaks out the murderer. He and his friends finally discover a lot
of treasures and they become millionaires...
Mark Twain"s writing was based on his own childhood and his
personal experience. What makes this story great is that Tom
Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. It is a
story filled with action, adventure, ingenious (巧妙的)  ideas, love,
and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication
of what Twain did or wishes he did during his childhood.
The book is a little difficult to read at first. Perhaps,it will
take you a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the
book. But on the whole, the book is an enjoyable read for people of
all ages. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking forward
to feeling young again.

Now net fiction (小说) , also called computer fiction is
popular in more than 80 countries.
To write computer fictions, the writers don"t have to think
about making any plot. Like reporters, they just go to a lot of
places and collect materials: what most women want, their ideas
about life and love, their happiness and sufferings and emotions.
All these materials are fed into the computer to be processed (处
理) and classified (分类). Then the writers just pick some
materials from every part and fill in some details (细节)  and a
story is made up.

published in Canada in 1976.  It was a great success and 45 million
copies were sold. Seeing this new process as profittaking (赢利

of the 13 Canadian editors and soon a series of computer fictions
were published in the United States.

The climate of any place is the kind of weather. It usually has
over a long period of time. The houses we live in, the clothes we wear,
and the food we eat depend on the climate of the place where we live.
Climate is a pattern that is not nearly as simple as we think,
and it is affected by many factors. The distance to the North or
South Pole or to the equator really matters a lot. If you live near
either of the poles, you live in a cold climate, for the place where
you live does not get as much or as direct sunshine as a place
farther away from the poles. In places close to the equator, the
climate is very hot, for they are the parts where the sun shines
almost straight down.
Whether rain or snow falls makes a great difference to the
climate. In hot, dry deserts, little rain falls, but in a hot rainforest,
the amount (数量) of rainfalls is far larger than that in a desert, for
there is a heavy rain almost every day, even several times per day.
Though a rainforest and a desert may be the same distance from the
equator, their climates are rather different from each other.
How much rain or snow falls is considered by some to be
determined by the winds, the surrounding mountains and the
currents (水流) in nearby seas and so on. In short, it is a very
complex natural phenomenon.
1. This passage mainly talks about   ____.
A. weather
B. different climates
C. climate and its determining factors
D. the difference between weather and climate
2. From this passage, we know climate and weather are ____ and climate is ____.
A. almost the same; the general term of weather
B. quite different; the average weather conditions at a particular place over a period of time
C. not the same; included by weather
D. very much alike; bigger and weather is smaller
3. The climates between a tropical(热带的) desert and a tropical rainforest are different in ____   .
A. the amount of rainfalls
B. the winds and the surrounding mountains
C. the currents in nearby seas
D. how much sunshine the two different places can get
4. From the context, we can guess that the word "complex" means ____   .
A. simple
B. easy to understand
C. rather
D. difficult to understand
