Animals are our close friends. Without them，especially the rare species，the world would be too dull to live in．Unfortunately, we have heard recently that rare animals，even when kept in the zoo，couldn’t escape being hurt and killed，at which we can feel nothing but shocked．The reason is that some people lack understanding of the existence of these animals and don’t care for them．
Therefore，we should take active measures，studying and publicizing the information about rare animals．Keep in mind that protecting animals is；protecting ourselves and thus it is our duty to do it well．
