Step 1 Tie a scarf to the outside doorknob as a symbol of Do Not Disturb, but be careful not to do this too consistently. Warn your roommate beforehand about possible days and times when this scarf will be on the door so your roommate will have time to make plans ahead of time instead of it being a surprise, especially if you plan to have an overnight guest. Be considerate if your roommate needs to get into the room regardless of the scarf on the door to get something out of the dorm because it is his dorm room too.
Step 2 If one roommate is a light sleeper and the other is a heavy sleeper, the heavy sleeper could consider an alternate way to wake himself up besides an alarm. Heavy sleepers tend to ignore alarms, but sometimes vibrating (震动的) cell phones feel like someone is shaking them. It is also a quieter way not to disturb the light sleeping roommate using a vibrating cell phone.
Step 3 Take cell phone calls outside of the room. Your roommate may not want to hear your conversation or you may want some privacy, but your roommate should not have to leave every time you have a phone call. The roommate who is not on the phone has no way of knowing how often you will have phone calls and should not be put out because you do.
Step 4 Ask if it" s okay to have a guest in the room. Although your roommate is not your parent, and you may feel like this is your room too, remember that__________. He may not want company when you do. If one roommate is more sociable than the other and guests become a repeated argument, consider asking the resident director if you can swap( 交换) roommate with someone else.

It"s difficult enough to have privacy in a house, so privacy in a small dorm room is next to impossible. However, it can be done if both roommates are willing to cooperate.可知如何在家或在宿舍有一个私人的空间。
小题2:It is also a quieter way not to disturb the light sleeping roommate using a vibrating cell phone.
3:Although your roommate is not your parent, and you may feel like this is your room too,
4:Step 3 Take cell phone calls outside of the room.
5:It"s difficult enough to have privacy in a house, so privacy in a small dorm room is next to impossible. 这里的It 指的是Having privacy/privacy,下文的it can be done if both roommates are willing to cooperate.中it指的也是一样的。

When it comes to the world of computers, green computing is becoming popular. But what is green computing?
The term “green computing” is one that is being used in many different markets and areas all over the world in today’s global technology. However, many computer users aren’t sure what it means. Green computing is actually quite easy to explain and to do—it is basically learning to use computer resources more efficiently to protect the environment as well as saving energy. The main goal is to reduce the use of energy and materials that harm the environment.
Green computing started as early as 1992, when the EPA created Energy Star program that improved computing equipment and technologies. Because of this program sleep pattern appeared and many computer users began to adopt this policy to help save energy when they were not using their computers. In October of 2006, Energy Star made the requirements stricter for computers. Because of these new requirements, there are over 20 states that have now set up a special recycling program for old computers to help with green computing.
Many of today’s IT systems are beginning to rely on both people and hardware to help push their computer systems toward a more green computing system to help both the company and others. This is a hard balance to achieve, as it has to satisfy users. Many companies are learning the best ways that they call go greener when it comes to their computing and also help their business in the process. While many home computer users may not be quite as familiar with green computing as large firms, this term is starting to become more mainstream all around the world.

Last Saturday the students of our class made a bike trip to a small town by the Taihu Lake. We set off earlier in the morning. After getting to the town, we visit some places of interest. At noon, we had picnic near the town. Everybody was attracted by the beautifully scenery and we took a lot of picture there. In the afternoon, some of us went fishing, some rowed boats on the water, but others flew kites. We both had a wonderful time! It was a pleasant trip for them, during which the boys were offered the girls a lot of help. We have learned to help, understand and sharing with others. In a word, we have got quite a lot from it.
