完形填空。     As we know, it is important for us to learn English. But do you think it is difficult to learn English?
And  1  do you learn English? This week we asked students at Huamgmei Shiyan Middle School about
the best ways  2  more English.  3 what Li Mei said.
Last year my English class was difficult. First of all,  it wasn"t  4  for me to understand the teacher
when she talked. To begin with, she spoke  5  quickly for me to understand every word. Later on, I know
that it doesn"t  6  if you don"t understand every word. I was also afraid  7  in class, because I thought my
classmates might  8  me. I couldn"t always make a complete sentence,   9 . Then I started to watch
English-language TV. It helped  10 . I think that doing lots of listening practice is one of the secrets of  11
a good language learner. Another thing that I found very difficult was English  12  . So I decided  13  a lot
of grammar notes in every class. Then I started to write my own original sentences using the grammar I was
learning. It"s amazing  14  this helped. Now I am enjoying learning English and I got  15  A this term. My
teacher is very impressed.

lessons from his experiences. He always told me, "You should have goals like climbing the mountain."
Without the mountain-climbing that we both enjoyed, we couldn"t have enough time to spend together
because my father was always busy. I really got a lot from mountain-climbing. It gave me time to talk with
my father and to be in deep thought as well as develop my patience.
Once we climbed a very high mountain. It was so challenging for me because I was only ten years old.
During the first few hours of climbing, I enjoyed the flowers and trees, and the birds" singing; but as time
passed, I got a pain in both of my legs. I want to quit climbing. In fact, I hated it at that moment, but my

you reach the top. Only there at the top, can you see all of the nice things, just like in life."
