在定语从句中选关系词,首先要看先行词.并不是看着像地点的先行词,关系词就用where/in which,比如：I like the house that/which my mother bought last year.I like the house where/in which my family live.第一个用的是that/which ,因为先行词the house 在从句my mother bought last year中作bought的宾语,my mother bought the houde last year我妈妈去年买的房子,是物而不是地点；第二个用where/in which是因为先行词the house 在从句 my family live中作的是地点,即my family live in the house.
