我的翻译得不怎么好,不过与其他回答理解得都不一样.
The scene can be compared to the glacier,traditional media is like the part over the ice crest,nothing seems to be happening.But beneath the crest,massive changes are undergoing,and these changes are to determine what the future will be like.And the new media are just like subglacial probes,they reveal all that is happening beneath the crest.
