So,whether the university ranking helps or misleads students to choose university Before giving my opinion,I think it is important to look at the argument on public.People’s views vary from one to another.People support university ranking for the following three reasons.First and foremost,the students and parents with less experience in choosing universities will benefit from university ranking.Secondly,it is necessary to build a competitive atmosphere among universities by ranking them.Last but not the least,university ranking is a good reference for employer to recruit staffs.
The other person who oppose to university ranking express their worry that it have a negative influence on students,which makes them choose university only concerning the ranking but not their true interest
