In recent years, fruit and vegetable transportation has always been a hot topic. Different from the transportation of other products, it has some special conditions during the transportation process. As one of the main supporting industries in Ledong, Hainan Province, the banana industry plays an important role in promoting the income growth of Hainan Ledong farmers and driving the economic development there. In latest years, the banana industry in Hainan Ledong has developed fast with the governmental support. It has gained substantial progress, but many problems still exist though. For example, the transportation of Hainan Ledong bananas is the major factor that limits the industry development. Banana transportation is high-cost, with large collecting expenses, incomplete transportation vehicles, poor transportation comprehensive ability and imperfect food preservation technologies, lacking professional technicians, which greatly affects the banana industry. Therefore, around this topic, this paper analyze the transportation of Hainan Ledong bananas, explores the solutions to the problems, with the hope to improve the banana transportation as well as the sustainable healthy development of Hainan Ledong banana industry and provide a reference for the scholars of similar researchers and relevant companies.
