What is this life if,full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see,when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see,in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet,how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if,full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Leisure Time
Fly,little bird fly.
Beat your wings slap till locked in thermals.
Over hills and dales,mountains and lakes you go
What contentment and leisure you show.
Your home is but a simple nest,
In the nook of a tree set in nature's form
As the autumn leaves begin to fall,
Softly the day draws to a sunset close,
Your world's black outline is exposed.
I look at your magnificent world,
I wish too that i could chase and lark,
Spin and circle in the fresh,crisp air,
Knowing that I must now retire,
For the dark,unknown night draws nigher.
Day,sun,light please do not go,

With my fellow friends and family,

But no,mother nature must play the cards,
Night duties are my next task.
Not a large meal for me,a worm or two is plenty.
The wind intercedes between my warm coat.
Now to my warm,snug bed i go,take note.
Oh,little bird up in the sky or nest
Wherever you may be,
Look down,down,right down at little me.
I admire your simple life,
How I wish I were part of it.
How I wish I could spread my wings and fly
To fill the heavens with my sweet voice.
To rest between the autumn leaves
And to start a new life between the eaves.
Softly,elegantly to my cove i resign.
