Hi!I am Vicky.I am gonna share with you an interesting family event of mine that tood place in last summer.My auntie and her family came visiting us from England in last summer.Let me briefly introduce my auntie Vanessa.She is the older daughter in my grandparents' family; my uncle and my dad are her younger brothers.Twenty years ago,My auntie Vanessa went to UK in her pursuit of a prestige PhD degree from University of Cambridge.After she successfully completed her degree,my auntie Vanessa married to her handsome British hushand and decided to have her family with him and live in UK.Since then,my auntie Vanessa started working as a physical theraphist doctor in a hospital of Cambridge,UK.My auntie Vanessa is very sweet and generous.She comes visiting us bi-annually - during summer time and spring festival.In last summer,she came to Shanghai with her British hushand Thomas,her mixed son Daniel and her mixed daughter Gabrielle.They are my foreign cousins who are a few years older than me.Uh,yeh.My auntie taught them well,so they can speak very good manderin.We all love auntie Vanessa.Her brothers and parents missed her.My mom and she knew about each other for decades since they were best friends studying in UK.We celebrated our family's gathering in the city for two weeks.We took auntie Vanessa to many great places in Shanghai.The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the modern symbol of Shanghai City.It is the tallest TV tower in Asia and the third highest in the world.We went shopping at Nanjing Road which is considered to be the "No.1 commercial street in China".Over 600 shops can be found there.We also went to The Jade Buddha Temple which is one of the most famous Buddhist temples to be found in Shanghai.We visited Yuyuan Garden,the largest of Shanghai's ancient gardens with architectural styles of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.All and all,we enjoyed a great family event with auntie Vanessa and her family in last summer!
