Do you know the "daddy" emperor penguin has a very
important job
When the female penguin lays an egg,she will give
it to the father penguin.The egg rests on the father
penguin`s flippers,and a fold of furry skin on his
belly keeps the egg warm .The father takes care of
the egg and the mother goes to the sea to eat!
The mother penguin returns about two months later.
Her stomach is full of food that she will give to her
baby.After the baby is born ,the mother penguin will
take care of it.Now it is daddy`s turn to go back to
the sea to find food.He is hungry!
