前文大概意思是这个主人公是个黑人小孩,刚来到一所中国学校.
I turn to my classmate on the right and she is a girl. I first smile to her, and then she smiles looking away. I ask her a question. She is surprised that I can speak Chinese. At ________(这个空是填least 还是last,还是first?答案是least,不理解）she understands me and tells me the teacher is doing an introduction to the course. The yound lady asks a million questions. It is when we are talking that I realize my Chinese pronunciation is poor. I can't say the words well and so I end up saying a different meaning instead of the one I want to. That's why my classmate on the left could not understand what I said just now, before I turn to the right.

因为有 at first i smile to her,and then 等等表示时间顺序的 副词 这里是at last 英语中也不需要多恍然大悟或者水落石出才能用at last 单纯叙述表顺序也可以
至于答案是least 问你们老师去吧 这段英文一点也不通顺
