I agree with that “people in their right mind never take pride in their talents.” Because if a man becoming proud,he will attain less achievement then he should be.The fables in order to tell people it is wrong to become proud exist in all culture. This is a general idea that people should not take pride even though they really have some talents.
In ancient China, there was a child who was called genius by all other citizens, for he is able to write poetry when he was just 7 years old.His father was really pride of his son,and takes him all over the country to show his talent,it makes the child do not want to continue study at all.His name in the history was just a “genius boy”,nothing recorded about him after he was 12 years old.In Chinese history, there are hundreds of genius boy recorded, but only a few of them got some real achievement in politic, literature or science. The only things of them recorded in the history book were just the story about their childhood

I agree 【with the statement that】 “people in their right mind never take pride in their talents,” 【because if a man becomes too proud,he will achieve less than what he could have achieved.】 【This kind of aphorism warning】people 【about becoming too proud exists】 in all 【cultures】.【There】 is a general idea that people should not take 【too much pride in their success】 even though they 【might actually】 have some talents.
In ancient China, there 【once】 was a child who was 【named】 genius by all 【the】 other citizens,【because he could】 write poetry 【at the age of seven】.His father was really 【proud】 of his son,and 【took】 him all over the country to show 【others】 his talent.【However, because of this,】the child 【did not】 want to continue 【his studies any longer】.His name in the history books is simply】 “genius boy”,【and nothing was ever】 recorded about him after he was 12 years old.In Chinese history,【hundreds of talented boys were noted】,but only a few of them 【achieved success】 in 【politics, literature,or science.】 【For most of them,】the only things of them recorded in the history book were 【stories】 about their 【childhoods】.
