The question of how to learn English well has been asked ever since the Chinese started to learn English whereas the answer for the question is not so clear to many people. As a matter of fact, there are several ways to learn English well but the most effective method is to find an individual approach which suits you the most.
Generally speaking, the following four factors are the most influential factors in English study: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Taling about speaking, a beginner should start from pronunciation. To try your best to read every single word clearly and accurately is very essential. Then you could try to imitate those native speakers' intonation in tapes.
Listening is also important, yet if your purpose of learning English is for examination, you don't really need to bother it.
Reading is the most crucial learning section in our social context. Our text books have been focusing on reading since the very beginning while our examination paper have also been concentrating on reading ability assessment. Learners could try to read as many English novels as you can after you have finished reading your text books. Reading novels that you interested in the most is pretty effective.
Writing is easy to improve. The best way to improve writing is to try to recite some of high quality sample writings and then use them wisely in your study.
In sum, learning English is not an easy task. It requires self-discipline, patience and motivation. Therefore, finding your own way to learn and motivating yourself in learning from time to time are the answers to the question that we mentioned at the beginning of this piece of writing.
