D.To broaden the scope of agricultural export markets
The main exports directions of our country's agriculture consist of Asian with Japan and the European Union included and some European countries and regions,most of which,as the origin of environmental barriers are the members of the World Trade Organization and Environment Committee.Their environmental action starts early.Their environmental standards are more stringent and environmental technology ranks high in the world.By virtue of its environmental advantages,they,for their own interests,make a strong demand for linking both trade and the environment closely,and establish the high even harsh environmental standards to developing countries.Therefore,while Chinese enterprises devote themselves to improving the quality of agricultural exports,they should also consider adjusting the market direction of agricultural products exports step by step and shift the focus to developing and middle-income countries.To do so,on one hand we can avoid the harsh restrictions on the environmental barriers in order to extend the product life cycle; on the other hand,it can reduce the market pressures from developed countries,strive for a buffer time and realize the transition and conversion of products to environmentfriendly model progressively.In addition,it should also be taken to diversify the export products and balance the time in order to avoid bringing market pressures to the importing countries owing to less species of production and time concentration.
