Buy a thick notebook and get into the habit of taking notes. In English class, when your teacher explains to you some language points that you don’t know or when you read some good articles about the usage of some words and sentence patterns in your spare time, you should write them down on your notebook at once. Without taking notes, you can’t learn English well, I believe. Therefore, I hope that those who haven’t got into the habit of making notes make notes from now on! Every morning, spend some time in reviewing the language points in your notebook and do what you can to learn them by heart. Thus you English knowledge will be accumulated and enlarged slowly
How to learn English? That's an nation-wide question in China, is it not? After so many years of learning English, I could say that the following points are the essential of Study English effectively. Firstly, whenever you are learning a foreign language, the most important thing that effects the level of language is vocabularies. It's advisable that we accumulate a large amount of vocabularies and phrases. Secondly, try to speak English whenever and wherever you can. It's much better when you have a enclosed environment having English as your compulsary language, then you can improve exponentially. Last of all, maybe try to keep an English diary, it need not to be hard, keep it simple but continuous,also read a lot of English novels, especially those that interest you. Just remember that English is not hard, but it does need practices.
