1.the other 有两种用法
1）one...,(and) the other (one/单数名词)

2) the other + 名词复数 = the others
用于有限定范围的情况,意思是“其他的...”
如：There are forty students in my class.Ten are boys,and the other students are girls.

用于没有限定范围的情况,意思是“其他的人/物”.

3.another 有三种用法
1）单用,表示“三者或以上中的另外一个”

2) another + 名词单数,用法同上

3) another + 基数词 + 名词复数 = 基数词 + more + 名词复数
意思是“又/再/另几个...”
