On My Friend (Three)
When I was in freshman year,I met a guy who later turned out to be one of the most influential people in my life.He is my classmate,Daren.When I first saw him,he struck me as extraordinary.It has nothing to do with his appearance,but he has a certain kind of peacefulness and tranquility which make someone naturally attracted to him.We soon became good friends.
He is a very good listener and is willing to lend a shoulder for me whenever I feel down.My first year in university was chaotic and confusing,but thanks to him,I was able to find someone who pour my heart to whenever I was feeling sad or lost.He does not talk much,but his soothing tone always makes me calm down.
Besides being a great listener,he is also very helpful.University life requires a lot of spending of money because you have to socialise with your friends.There used to be times when I was a bit shy with my pocket.The person I always turned to was Daren.No matter how little money he had left,he would lend me some without so much as complaining.
Without Daren,my life in university could have been more chaotic and frustrating.
