English spelling is even harder_and peoiple in the USA and England spell a lot of words differently English spelling has rules. Text messages have to fit onto a small mobile phone screen The job of text messages is to say as much as possible with as few letters as possible. Lt is a whole new language. Most teenagers do not use much punctuation. Here are some examples:

“Come to the pub at 8 o’clock” becomes “cum 2 pb 8”.
