Dear Jack,
Thank you for your letter on January 16 in which you invited me to your school to give a lecture about the Chinese festivals.I am sorry to tell you that I have no choice but to refuse your invitation because I hurt my leg when I played basketball last Monday.and now I have to stay in hospital.
By the way I can recommend you my classmate Li Hua who is very interested in the Chinese culture.I think he can do the job well.
