今天以内就要要!was parked in front of the mall wiping off my car.Coming my way from across the parking lot was what society would consider a bum(无业游民).From the looks of him,he had no car,no home,no clean clothes,and no money.He sat down in front of the bus stop but didn’t look like he could have enough money to even ride the bus.“That’s a very pretty car,” he said.He was ragged but he had an air of dignity around him.I said,“thanks,” and continued wiping off my car.He sat there continued as I worked.The expected beg for money never came.As the silence between us widened something inside said,“ask him if he needs any help.” I was convinced that he would say “yes”.“Do you need any help?” I asked.He answered in three simple but profound(深远的) words that I shall never forget .“Don’t we all?” he said.
I had been feeling high,successful and important until those three words moved me like a shotgun.Don’t we all?I needed help.Maybe not for bus fare or a place to sleep,but I needed help.I

我把车停在商场前的停车场擦车.迎面向我走来的是被社会定义为无业游民的人.从外观上看,他无车,无家,没有干净的衣服也没有钱.他在公交车站前坐下但是他看上去并不像是有钱去坐车.他说：“车真漂亮.”尽管他衣衫褴褛但是他尽力保持尊严.我说：“谢谢!”然后继续擦车.而此时他仍坐着那儿.收钱的袋子没有像我预想的那样出现.我们俩都默不作声.内心里一个声音说道：“问问他是否需要帮助.”我确信他会说他需要.于是我问道：“需要帮忙吗?”他却用了三个简单但是意思深远让我无法忘记的词语回答说：“我们不都需要吗?”.
我一向自认为自己高贵,非常成功又很重要然而这几个字却让我心头一震.我们不都需要帮忙吗?我的确需要帮助.对我来说,我需要的可能不是一个住的地方也不是一趟公交车的钱,但是我仍需要帮助.我从口袋掏出钱夹给他的钱不仅够他的车费还足够他买一餐热乎乎的饭和一个住的地方.这三个简洁的话语依旧警示着我.无论你拥有什么,无论你有多么成功,你也一样会需要帮助.无论你多么微小,无论你承担者怎样的负担,甚至是你没钱没有睡觉的地方,你一样能够接受帮助.
