More and more discussion over the issue what it means to Chinese in the 21st century has been raised frequently nowadays.There are some people deem that 21st century is a challenge for Chinese,also others believe that 21st century is a oppotunity for Chinese.There are truth and lies for both of the arguments.
What is true if people say 21st century is a chanllenge for Chinese people?As we all know,China has a large population and it continues to increase,but the work opportunities are limiting.In other word,tons of Chinese can not find a job in 21st century.What is more,people cannot get the benefits from government as well as before,thanks to the population again.
What is true if pople say 21st century is a opportunity for Chinese people?With the development of the society,knowledge becomes more and more critical.From my point of view,most of the Chinese studtents are sedulous.As a result,Chinese students are more competitive in this increasingly fierce society.
In conclusion there are some elements of truth in both arguments.The question is whether we can find the balance between them.What we must do is to take the essence and discard the dregs.
