Money management is all about discipline and how we handle risks that is not overtrading,cutting your losses,and letting your profit run.In other words,money management is the process of analyzing trades for risks and potential profits,determining how many risks,if any,are acceptable and managing a trade positioning to control risks and maximize profitability.The importance of money management can best be shown through drawdown analysis which shows the amount of money you lose in trading,expressed as a percentage of your total trading equity.Drawdown analysis does not measure overall performance.It only indicates the money lost while achieving that performance.Its calculation begins with a losing trade and continues as long as the account hits now equity lows.
