Competition for places at Oxford is very strong,and school leaving qualifications from China would not usually be sufficient for you to make a competitive application.If you have the Senior High School Diploma,Chinese University Entrance Examination or 'GaoKao' you would need to supplement your qualifications with further study equivalent to A-Levels.You might want to consider taking A-Levels or another equivalent,such as the International Baccalaureate.We would be looking for AAA at A-Level,or a level of performance around 38-40,including core points,with 6s or 7s in the higher subjects in the IB.The first year of a Bachelors degree from a university in China could also be an acceptable alternative.
