阅读理解。    In many British schools, the pupils usually wear their school uniforms to school on weekdays. However, recently the students at LVS Ascot Junior School in England wore something quite different. What they wore was what people wear when they go to bed - pyjamas (睡衣). They did this not only for fun, but for a local charity called Christopher’s Smile.

what to do. DNA is the reason that we look like our parents, because we get some of their DNA to make our own.
People have been trying to understand the human body for a long time. In I860, Mr Mendel discovered why we look the same as other people in our family. It is because of small things called "genes"(基因) in
our body. In 1953, two scientists, Watson and Crick, found out that those small parts are really messages. They"re written in the DNA with a special language.

influence you more than anyone else you will meet. So if your mom loves to read, you just might
grow up carrying a book wherever you go, just as she does. But parents do a lot more than just
pass on their hobbies. Moms and Dads need to care for their kids the minute their kids are born.

a hug (拥抱), a card , or a joke. It"s also lovely when a kid cleans up his or her room without being
asked. And if you try not to fight with your brothers or sisters, your parents will be so happy!

阅读理解。      What"s the most important thing for you to have in your life? Somebody mentions hard-work,
others suggest knowledge, love and luck.
If you arrange (排列) the 26 English letters in order and use numbers to represent each of them,
for example, 1 for a, 2 for b, 3 for c…26 for z, you can change an English word into a number. So
hard-work becomes 8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11=98, meaning 98 is its mark. Knowledge: 11+14
 +15+23+12+5+4+7+5=96, love: 12+15+22+5=54, and luck: 12+21+3+11=47, a small mark.
None of these words can give one a full mark. What about money? It can"t , either.
Then what else? Don"t be worried. You can always find an answer to a problem in your life,
when you change your way of looking at things or doing things, or your attitude.Yes, attitude is the
word. See for yourself: attitude: 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5=100, a full mark.
Different attitudes lead to different courses of life. Most time people hope for a better life. It is
possible that they will have a better life if they chang their attitudes. When you change your manner
and became friendly towards others, you"ll meet more smiling faces towards you. In the same way,
if you take a positive attitude towards failure, you"ll find it"s also rewarding (有益的) though it has
caused you losses (损失).1. The writer thinks _____ is the most important thing in a person"s life. A. hard-work.
B. knowledge
C. money
D. attitude2. What is the mark of the word money according to the passage? A. 73
B. 72
C. 75
D. 62 3. According to the passage, if you meet with problems, the best way is to _____.A. ask for help from others
B. hope to be lucky
C. change your attitude
D. try math-solving ways4. From the passage we can learn that _____.A. diffrent attitudes come from different courses of life

阅读理解       Frogs are animals that can live both in water and on land. There are more than 5,000 kinds of frogs
on the earth. The earliest known frogs lived about 190 million years ago and the frogs today still look the
same. Here are some fun things that you might not know about frogs. Enjoy!
The Biggest and the Smallest Frogs
Some frogs can be very big. The biggest kind of frog is the Goliath Frog in West Africa. Its body can be nearly 30cm long, about the size of a large cat. The Gold Frog and the Poison Frog are the smallest
frogs in the world. They are less than 1cm long. Though the Poison Frog is very small, it is not weak at all. It is dangerous. Any animal that eats it will die very soon.
       The Best Jumpers
Frogs are very good at jumping. They developed jumping legs so that they would not be eaten by
other large animals. Using their big strong legs, more frogs can jump over 20 times their own length. It is
like a person jumping over about 30,48. The Australian Rocket Frog can even jump over 2m, which is
50 times its body length(5.5cm). That might be the reason why frogs are called the best jumpers on the
earth.
       The Cryogenic Animal
Some frogs like the Common Wood Frog have a special ability to live in very cold places. When the
temperature goes down, they become ice frogs. 2/3of their body water freezes. Their hearts stop, and
their breathing stops too. You may think they are dead, but in fact they are not. Maybe we humans can
learn the way that the frogs do for medical purpose.1. The earliest frogs lived about ________ million years ago.A. 20
